The Event: Your Flathead Valley Rotary Clubs are excited to present the 9th Annual Rotary Great Bear Festival. We've grown it to new heights and focus on celebrating local culture, music, food, drink, and fun. It brings our community together with interactive activities for all ages.
Join us at the O’Shaughnessy Outdoor Amphitheater at the Wachholz Center on Saturday August 8 2026. The Great Bear Festival will feature family fun, local sounds, food trucks, and a new headline show by Tommy Edwards and Man & The Box (5:30–8:00 PM). Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in as the sun goes down. And if the weather turns, we’ll move the concert indoors to this wonderful facility.
The Benefit: Residents and visitors enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon and evening at an amazing venue with great food, drink, and activities for all. With sponsorship support from local businesses and private donors, the Rotary Great Bear Festival raises funds for projects like youth basketball, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp, scholarships for local high school seniors, Ashley Creek Park playground, local nonprofit grants, and international clean-water and sanitation efforts.
